Leader: Hi my name is (your name here) and I am an alcoholic. Will you join me in a moment of silence, followed by the Serenity Prayer?
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
The “CSR” AA Group welcomes you. We suffer from the disease of alcoholism. We believe the sobriety we seek is found in the 12 steps. We welcome all to our meeting, but if you wish to share, we ask that you identify as AA only in the spirit of singleness of purpose. I will turn the meeting over to our secretary for announcements.
Secretary: The CSR AA Group meets one afternoon a week at noon Pacific time, 3 PM Eastern time. If you would like a clickable reminder of our meeting in email, just private chat me your email address and I will see that you get them. Our simple website can be found at csraa.com
7th Tradition: Our 7th tradition states that we have no dues or fees, but we do support AA World Service. Contribute Here
Leader: 2 Things. 1 We believe in taking it easy and 2. we are easy going and fun, so don't worry if your kids or pets come and say hi. Also Remember, cursing and crosstalk are allowed and often encouraged. Please keep your mute button on unless sharing. Do we have any newcomers today?
The format for this meeting is a 10-minute lead share followed by 3-minute topic shares. The timer will announce “1 minute” and “time.” This meeting stays open 15 minutes after closing.
Closing at 59 after : Thanks for allowing me to lead. Please join me in the Serenity Prayer.
GOD: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
